i personallly think it is wrong to dig up artifacts from the titanic because it is a graveyard and they should respect that because many of the expeditions to recover items were done for pure profit and it makes me mad

No one is allowed to take artifacts from the main part of the boat because of the fact that that part of the boat is viewed as a tomb. None of the artifacts were used as profit. The artifacts that are brought up are from the debris fields. I personally am okay with the recovery of artifacts. The Titanic was part of our history. Having the artifacts displayed makes people realize that this was real and teaches us to respect those who lost their lives.

I am fine with it sometimes but otherwise, just leave the stuff down there. If the people knew you were taking from them, they would probably call you a thief. Leave them be. It was their life, and maybe they want to be left alone with their belongings or maybe they have a life that they want to share. But I know if I was one of the lost, I would not want anyone to take my stuff up to be shown. They can learn all they want of me, but DON’T take away me or my belongings.

Soooo….. Whats the difference between salvaging the titanic, on which around 2000 people died, and salvaging the treasure packed 1715 plate fleet, on which around 2000 people died? I think ships should be salvaged to the fullest extent possible, so the history they contain can be preserved and be available to the public instead of sitting 12000 feet under the ocean like the titanic. Whats the problem with profiting from treasure-packed shipwrecks as long as a proper amount of money and artifacts is used to create a museum/memorial.

i think it is wrong.its a memorial for those who died and no one should be able to take stuff from there.
